Who can qualify for a DCEF grant?
Charitable, non-profit groups and organizations [501(C)(3) or 170(b) units of government organizations] are encouraged to apply. A group lacking one of these designations may apply through a qualified fiscal agent. Minimum funding request is $500. Funds awarded by the DCEF must be used for civic, educational, public, charitable, patriotic or religious projects. The DCEF will not support “for-profit” entities, annual campaigns, endowments or projects that do not serve Dickinson county residents.
How can our group or organization apply for a project grant?
Application materials are available May 1st with completed applications due by
June 30th, 2011 at 4:30 pm... Awards are announced by September 1st. Applications
must include information on community need/benefit, project budget, applicant
group’s ability to complete the project and any sources identified for partnerships
or matching funds.
We require that all applications be type written and that the current year document template be used. The documents below are in Word format and can be filled in on-line, then printed off on your own computer.
2011 grant information will be available by May 1, 2011.
